This is an incomplete list of Danny’s recordings, as musician and producer. We apologize for omissions and will happily add recordings to the list as titles and label data appear through the mail slot.

WAKE THE DEAD
Blue Light Cheap Hotel
WTD’s third CD, produced by Danny, recorded with a crackling live feel and featuring Brian Rice as first-chair percussionist (with now emeritus member Joe Craven appearing as a guest on, among other things, rattling horse jaw). The band’s first studio recording to branch out from the GD canon, including one Carnahan original and one Dylan song, as well as Paul Kotapish on jaw’s harp.

ALFREDO SOLTERO & STEPHEN BELL
Dos Compadres y Una Copa Rota
Danny produced this nearly indescribable project—Alfredo, a 3rd generation mariachi singer, delivering gorgeous traditional Spanish vocals over Stephen’s line-by-line English translations and consummate guitar work. By turns astonishing and hilarious… unlikely ever to make it to radio and that’s a real shame.

A compilation of Celtic instrumentals culled from the lovely Gourd line. Track 2 is Danny’s ”Breton Dances” from “Journeys of the Heart,” remixed with the synthesizer replaced by Danny on real fiddle, plus Barry Phillips on cello & percussion and Shelley Phillips on oboe. It rocks.
